‘A product is created in a company, a brand is created in the mind,’ says Fabrizio Rigolio, the creative mastermind behind RIZOMA. Together with his brother Fabio, he launched RIZOMA in northern Italy in 2001. Their first project was a rear-view mirror for motorbikes, which won design awards right from the start. Many parts are made from ‘billet aluminium’, which means that the accessories are CNC-milled from a single block. The aluminium is also anodised, which significantly increases its durability and resistance. Logos and lettering are ‘painted’ into the surfaces by laser, which further refines the elegant look. Stainless steel (ventilation grille) and polymer (footrests) are also used.

These sport-orientated handlebar grips from RIZOMA guarantee a comfortable hold with a high quality production and finish. The aluminium cylinders and end-caps are CNC machined from a high end aluminium and then anodised, with inner diameters of 22 and 24mm, making them compatible with the Vespa GTS/GT/GTL models. On the right-hand side the throttle, along with the cable operation cam, are pre-assembled, the original throttle mechanism requires removal to properly mount this upgrade.

The Sport Lever with the Adjustable-Plus System from RIZOMA are CNC-milled from aluminium and anodized. This system ensures better accessibility of the lever and allows the rider to adjust the lever length individually. In addition to improved aerodynamics and the light weight, the levers offer a particularly good feel and are also adjustable in the lever distance to the Handlebar. The Brake Levers also have an ABE. The levers are supplied in pieces on the right or left.

RIZOMA have finally managed to adapt their sporty-looking aluminium motorcycle license plate holder to also complement modern Vespa models! It fully replaces the original rear light unit with a cover including an aluminium constructed license plate holder plus an integrated LED rear light. Their system takes the place of the plump-looking original while accentuating the design of the rear of the frame and also allowing the rear wheel and exhaust etc. to become more immediately apparent to the eye. Accurate dimensioning, quality and function are, as we have come to expect of RIZOMA produced components, all excellent! The license plate holder possesses an official German (KBA) approval number and the rear lights lens displays European approval (E-number).
