Commitment with heart
SIP Aid is the social initiative of SIP Scootershop, born out of the desire to share some of its own success. The idea came about when the SIP team was deeply moved by the shocking images of the flood disasters in eastern Germany in 2002 and in Asia in 2005. A spontaneous decision was made not only to provide one-off assistance, but to take on long-term responsibility.
Today, SIP Aid regularly supports charitable organizations such as SOS-Kinderdorf e. V., ARCHE Deutschland, Humedica, and the Red Cross—always with the aim of helping people in difficult life situations.
SIP Scootershop visits with €3,000
The new Arche building was recently formally opened and SIP did not want to miss out on a short tour of the castle. With a check for €3,000 in hand, a team of five made their way to the Arche in Landsberg. Even from the quiet residential street, the imposing size of the building was impressive. Inside, the first impression was confirmed: the building was designed to be extremely spacious – not only to ensure accessibility, but also to create room for new memories, milestones, and friendships.
As always, the SIP team was greeted with great warmth. Sebastian took over as tour guide, showing them room by room and enriching the tour with humorous anecdotes. Particular highlights included the prayer room and the large bathtub, which creates a real spa atmosphere thanks to its USB connection and lighting elements.
The tour came to a cozy end with tea, coffee and pastries. The team returned visibly touched: the people at the Arche impress with their uniqueness, warmth and a joy of life that lasts long after you leave.
