The seats rider-contact surface is made from a cross-stitched and suede-effect vinyl material, providing extra grip for more feedback and control of the scooters course. It is decorated with white stitching and beading at the rear. The seat is slightly harder to sit on than its predecessor as this version does not possess a gel cushion inlay. The riders section has lost 2cm, providing any pillion passenger with more room and comfort.

The 2-seater bench seat is only fitted as standard on GTV and GT60 models and, with the two individual seats, looks like a combination of a swinging saddle and seat cushion and is therefore reminiscent of the style of the 50s and 60s. The original PIAGGIO single seats covered with genuine leather in black or tobacco brown are extremely resistant to all types of weather thanks to treatment with special waxes. The PIAGGIO original seat benches of the individual models are covered with artificial leather and are usually used to replace the broken, damaged original without changing the look. This means that shorter people can easily lower the seat height of the LX without having to change the rims and shock absorbers.

To ensure that all seat benches remain intact, we also highly recommend getting a protective cover for the seat bench. In recent years, Vespa has dispensed with the protective cover, which used to be included with the new vehicle, under the seat. You therefore have to retrofit it yourself so that the Vespa is well protected, especially in the rain and strong sun.
