A real Vespisti also pays attention to the little things on his vehicle. There is hardly anything uglier than a number plate with dog-ears. We know the dog-ear from book pages that were folded in such a way that a so-called dog-ear was created. Some number plates only need to be looked at sharply before they bend. What can we do about it?

Legal information on Vespa license plates
Vehicles subject to compulsory insurance according to § 27 of the FZV (Vehicle Registration Ordinance) are
- Mopeds and light mopeds

- Four-wheeled light motor vehicles
- Power-driven medical wheelchairs
Light motorcycle license plates are available for motorcycles with an engine capacity of over 50cc up to a maximum of 125cc. A license plate for a light motorcycle has two lines, is a maximum of 255 millimetres wide and 130 millimetres high.
Depending on the Vespa model, the dimensions of the license plate may vary slightly. With a 125cc motorcycle, for example, you have the choice between a license plate for light motorcycles (255mm wide and 130mm high) and license plates for motorcycles, e.g. GTS 300 (180, 200 or 220 mm wide and 200mm high).
What to look out for?
Everyone is familiar with crooked number plates or has at least seen one.
In most cases, the available holes in the chassis do not match the holes in the plate holder.
What if there was a number plate holder that didn’t force the plagued Vespisti to drill around on his beloved two-wheeler? And in the end, the holes don’t really fit, resulting in the crooked number plate.

Why carbon?
For one thing, it looks great, is robust and lightweight, and as a nice side effect, carbon suggests the Vespisti’s connection to racing.
Carbon parts not only look cool and have a high-quality finish, they are also specially manufactured. Carbon parts are genuine carbon fiber-laminated custom-made products. So if you think you can just screw them on and you’re done, you’re a little mistaken.
A certain amount of individual post-processing is required for final assembly. A carbon part does not come from the original series production, but is always an elaborately produced, laminated custom-made product.
