SIP now has the perfect solution for all those who want to go a little faster but don’t want to give away their favorites. With the SIP Performance 125 cylinder, all Vespa Largeframe scooters can be transformed into a two-wheeler in the 125cc class with modern performance.
Unfortunately, classic 125cc scooters are often no longer very attractive in their original condition with their performance. With the SIP Performance 125 racing cylinder, this can easily be changed and even 125cc license holders can safely keep up with the traffic.

The cylinder is made of aluminum and has a coated barrel. It achieves its power through a sophisticated transfer system. The mixture enters the combustion chamber via six transfer ports, while it is discharged into the exhaust via three exhaust ports.
The cylinder head is fixed with eight screws and additionally sealed with an O-ring. The outlet is made of steel and is firmly bolted to the cylinder. The piston has a protective coating that protects the piston skirt, especially during the running-in phase.
Can be fitted to 2-channel and 3-channel engines
The cylinder is always installed with a 4 mm thick spacer between the cylinder and engine housing. Two different spacers are included in the kit. One is for mounting on a three-channel housing, the other allows the cylinder to be mounted on a two-channel housing. The scope of delivery includes paper gaskets of different thicknesses for both types of housing, which can be used to adjust the height of the cylinder.
Operation as a 125cc scooter
The 125cc class continues to enjoy great popularity, as it offers the ideal introduction to the world of motorized two-wheelers.Depending on the country-specific regulations, 125cc motorcycles can often be ridden without a motorcycle license. In some cases, a car driving license, special driving licenses from the age of 16 or inexpensive additional driving licenses are sufficient. The SIP Performance 125cc makes it possible to build engines for these driving license regulations that also offer impressive performance.
Important: for operation on public roads, prior consultation with the licensing authorities is of course necessary! Depending on the country-specific regulations, a complex individual approval is usually necessary. Without a special approval from the responsible licensing authority, operation of the cylinder on public roads is prohibited.
