The SIP Scootershop Open Day has long since become a firm highlight for all Vespa and Lambretta enthusiasts and traditionally marks the start of the scooter season in Landsberg am Lech in Bavaria. Visitors can also look forward to a spectacular event in 2025, which will take place on Saturday, 31 May. Last year’s anniversary was celebrated under the motto ‘Festival of 30 Years Performance & Style’, and this year will continue without a milestone birthday with lots of highlights for Vespa fans of all ages!
An event for all scooter fans
The SIP Scootershop opens its doors from 10 a.m. and invites all scooter fans to experience an eventful day. The flagship store is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and offers a huge selection of accessories, spare parts and scooters. For anyone looking for a special part, there is the popular parts and used scooter market – a true paradise for fans of vintage scooters and rare spare parts.
Of course, you don’t have to worry about your physical well-being either: Thanks to the wood-fired oven Ape, there will be crispy pizzas and delicious Italian salsiccia rolls at a barbecue stand. The SIPERIA Café-Bar, which invites you to linger with Italian specialities and drinks, provides the perfect refreshment. And if the little ones still need to let off steam, the day can end on a relaxed note with a visit to the bouncy castle.
Performance tests and company presentations
A special highlight is the calibrated P4 Amerschläger test bench, where visitors can have their scooters tested for performance for a voluntary donation of 10 euros. Perhaps the next horsepower record will be set! Of course, there will also be a variety of information stands offering interested visitors everything they need to know about the world of Vespas.
The Vespa Club Munich, the Vespa Cowboys and the Vespa Club of Germany will be represented, as will leading brands from the scooter industry such as PINASCO, BFA, BITUBO, DUNLOP, EGIG, NISA and many others.
In addition to lots of great products and information, visitors can look forward to a unique ambience with live DJ sounds to create the perfect atmosphere.
