Vespa World Days 2025 in Gijón, Spain

After more than 25 years, the VWD are returning to Spain, more precisely to Gijón (Asturias) on the coast of the Cantabrian Sea in the north of the Iberian Peninsula. The organizers (local Vespa clubs and associations) will do everything to make the participants feel at home. Gijón will be a Mecca for Vespisti! However, it will be difficult to top the successful VWD of Pontedera in the home of Vespa 2024.

  • Exhibition of Vespa models made in Spain

If you are interested, please contact the country’s own Vespa Club, for Germany the Vespa Club of Germany is responsible and can be contacted.

Side note
Perhaps someone remembers the scandalous incident at the 1982 World Cup in Gijón, where the teams Germany and Austria made a non-aggression pact, the result of which was 1:0 for the FRG and both teams went through to the next round.

Giro GTS Amalfitana in Italy, from May 4 to May 10, 2025

The Giro GTS Amalfitana promises wonderful Vespa riding days in a small, exclusive group. They will have secure sanitary facilities.

To conclude our overview, we would like to point out that there are countless small Vespa clubs and associations both in Germany and throughout Europe. They come and go and are therefore subject to a great deal of fluctuation. Just look out for such events regionally. It is often really worth visiting them.
With this in mind:
Have a safe journey at all times!
